Santa Fe Pro Musica’s Youth Concert Series has reached over 32,000 children since its 1994 launch. The program provides concert-going experiences for K-12 students from Santa Fe County school districts.

Designed as an annual Series, each Youth Concert comes with supplemental materials designed for classroom teaching, and builds on material taught in a previous Concert.

Teachers are encouraged to enroll their classes in all 4-6 Youth Concerts scheduled for a season.

General Director Thomas O’Connor—with the help of the SFPM Chamber Orchestra—leads the assembled students through an introduction to musical instruments, key musical terms, program-specific guided listening exercises and question and answer sessions.
